1947 Indian Chief

My name is Kerry Patchett , From Bourbonnais , IL , Age 68

I have always had a passion for older vehicles, my daily drivers in high school and college were Hudson automobiles, one of which I still have and enjoy.

Over the years I have owned several bikes & dreamed of owning a Indian Chief someday.  I remember a story that my parents told:  They were dating in high school & left a party, my dad on his Indian Chief and my mother following I a 1938 Chevy, she thought it would be fun to “Bump” him.   My Dad said every time the bike would fish tail, and he could not outrun her on the dirt road.   My mother’s comment years later: “you know, I have never seen him so mad “

I am looking forward to this “dream come true” trip because I will be riding with my Son Matt on his ’47 Knuckle and Son Brandon on his ’58 Panhead.
