1939 Harley Davidson EL

For Jonathan Dobbs and Jaci Pruitt (Sidecar Monkey) participating in another Cross County Chase means 10 more days of riding some of the best roads America has to offer. Once again they will be riding “Rita”, their red 1939 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead EL with original sidecar.

With the help of mechanically-talented friends in getting their rig ready, Jon and Jaci have been able to successfully complete two prior Cross Country Chase runs. While long-distance runs on an antique Harley-Davidson are never easy they are always enjoyable and memorable. Roadside breakdowns, sleep deprivation, and “Free Hot Breakfast”, what’s not to love? These two know this is just a small part of the total CCC experience.

After a long winter Jon and Jaci look forward to getting out on the road and riding with friends old and new. Perhaps Elvis will make an appearance during this year’s Route 66 extravaganza?
