I got my first taste of motorcycles when I was about 8 years old and I wanted to keep up with my big brother and the other boys in the neighborhood. My dad reminds me of days chasing me through the trails of our neighborhood trying to avoid local police. The bike I was riding was a 1975 Honda MR-50 which my husband restored and is still in our garage today.
The friends and memories made on the 2018 Motorcycle Cannonball made my decision to return in 2020 a no-brainer. I am excited and honored to be competing on my #98, 1913 Henderson.
My husband and I met during the 2001 Daytona Beach Bike Week and motorcycles have remained a large part of our lives. Partners in everything we do, I’m excited to now be able to include the 2019 Cross Country Chase and the 2020 Motorcycle Cannonball as he will be joining on both events.
I want to thank the friends and family who have come together to support me on this voyage. A big thank you to Jason and LeeAnn Sims for all their hard work and dedication. I also want to thank 4th Coast Fours and the Wolf Pack for taking me in and teaching me so much. I have been truly touched by all the well wishes and words of encouragement.
