Stage 3 will be an exciting day for riders as they get to visit three different Harley-Davidson dealerships all in one day as they make their way through Illinois! The morning kicks off with a pit stop at Barbed Wire Harley-Davidson in the town of DeKalb, IL.  Named after decorated Franconian-French war hero, Johann de Kalb, who died during the American Revolutionary War, the city is also famous as being home to Joseph F. Glidden, an American businessman who received a patent for barbed wire in 1874 after he made his own modifications to previous versions, which explains the name of the H-D dealership. Riders will visit Barbed Wire H-D from 9:30 to 10:30 on the morning of September 8, so be sure to scoot on down to check out the bikes and meet the riders!
