The Cross Country Chase riders are invited to Starved Rock Harley-Davidson in Ottawa, Illinois for lunch on September 8. The dealership is located about 20 minutes from the beautiful and popular Starved Rock State Park, which has been voted the number one attraction in the entire state of Illinois.

The dealership takes its name from the famous outcropping where a group of Native Americans, called Illiniwek, were pursued by the Ottawa and Potawatomi tribes. According to legend, the Illiniwek fled to the butte and the Ottawa and Potawatomi besieged the butte until all of the Illiniwek had starved during the late 18th century. Thus, the butte became known as “Starved Rock.”

One thing’s for certain, the Cross Country Chase riders won’t be sent off hungry, thanks to Starved Rock Harley-Davidson’s warm hospitality and gracious lunch invitation! Riders will have their machines on display for approximately two hours, so come on out to see the group between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at 750 Centennial Drive, Ottawa, IL.
