#37 Roger Green

Battle Creek, MI

1937 Harley-Davidson ULH

Hi all, I’m Roger Green the Wolverine from Battle Crick Michigan. I’ve been riding Harley’s for 39 years. Bought my first one while I was stationed at Minot AFB in North Dakota in the early spring of 1983. Motorcycling has been my way of life ever since. I have a 1913 Excelsior that I’ve had for 23 years but had never ridden until this year. The antique motorcycle bug bit me real hard in 2013 when I purchased my 1960 hand shift Duoglide. In 14 I rode that from Michigan to northern California and back. Since then I’ve added a few bikes to my collection, a 29 JD, a 37 ULH (Chase bike) and a 67 FLH. I first heard of the Cannonball in 2010 when a couple friends from Nebraska were in it as well as some others I know. I didn’t get a chance to see it in person until 2012 when it routed through Mich to catch the ferry in Muskegon to Milwaukee. When the 2019 Chase was announced, I think I signed up in the first hour. It was so much fun I can’t wait to do it again and see all of the friends I’ve made and make new one. I know some don’t like the Quizzes but I enjoy the challenge of that as well.
