1947 Harley Davidson WL

Hello my name is David “Doc” Marvo from Shorewood, IL. I will be riding my second Chase on a “new to me” 1947 WL which I am currently rebuilding. I’ve had a love for motorcycles, as long as I can remember and a desire to take apart and fix broken things. During last year’s Mini Chase, I traveled over 2100 miles total round trip on my ‘60 FLH, “The Mistress”. The bike previously belonged to my best buddy Rich who passed away the year before. The trip was epic and also the longest trip I’d taken on that bike. The camaraderie between riders and making of new friends I experienced during the Secrets of the Ozarks Chase was simply amazing. This year I’m looking forward to sharing the adventure on Rt 66 alongside my bride and riding partner, Sherry, as she trades out her 2012 Heritage Softail to pilot the ‘60 FLH Pan.
