1948 Harley-Davidson

My adventures started as a young kid from a motorcycle/dirt track racing family. Every weekend going to the races to watch my dad race cars he built and drove himself. My parents bought me a mini bike when I was about 5 years old and it’s been a wide open lifestyle of motorcycles and dirt track racing ever since. I got the vintage bike bug about 6 years ago and started purchasing and building vintage bikes to ride and enjoy. 4 Years ago I meet the Cannonball Run in Pa at one of their overnight stops and absolutely loved it. Someday I hope to do the Cannonball so once I heard about this I knew it was time. I will be riding a pretty well all original 1948 Harley UL that is the favorite bike I own and ride it as much as I can. I own a body shop and paint quite a few vintage and newer bikes every year and am surrounded by some incredible like minded people from all over the US and am proud to call them all friends. I was unsure if I would be able to take the time off until I meet Mike Carson at The Sons of Speed races in Daytona this year and he told me I just had to do it Joi. I can’t wait for this journey and the new friendships I will form.
