#86 Max Lynch

Libertyville, IL

1950 Moto Guzzi Falcone

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Lynch, although I go by Max, and I am a 22-year-old rider that has been provided the incredible opportunity to ride in the 2021 Cross Country Chase. While I have been exposed to the motorcycling world since a very young age and can remember many experiences on the back of my father’s Harley-Davidsons, my own motorcycle story’s seeds were sown when I started working for Joe Walano, The Guzzi Doctor, as an apprentice. What began as an interest in history, old bikes, and the desire to earn some extra money in the evenings after school, much to the chagrin of my mother, resulted in me buying my first motorcycle, a 1975 Moto Guzzi 850T, the day I graduated high school. Throughout my involvement in the motorcycle community, I have had the opportunity to make friends and build great relationships with others who share this same interest. Whether working on motorcycles in my garage, going for rides, or attending motorcycle shows around town, it is safe to say that I too am afflicted with the passion those on the chase all share, the love for riding a piece of history on two wheels. Graduating from college in May 2021 and looking to work in the motorcycle/automotive industry, I could not have asked for a better graduation gift than to have the privilege of being sponsored to ride on the 2021 Cross Country Chase. Thanks to the support of many donors, and Fred Wacker for trusting me with his 1950 Moto Guzzi Falcone, I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to test my navigation and riding skills, build lifelong memories, and meet others who share my passion for history and motorcycles. Finally, being a Moto Guzzi fan and owner, I am honored to be able to represent the storied marque in their centennial year.
